Our FTP campuses in the US and Canada are equipped to the brim, ensuring that our students thrive in the most productive learning environments possible!
Student's accommodation selection is based on several factors. The most important ones are: convenience, comfort, proximity to flight base, safety and cost-efficiency. Following on these criteria, our current campus location is based in a high quality apartment living community, typical for Florida. The apartment communities of this type offer a great range of amenities, security and comfort.
Our F1 visa flight training center "Pelican" for international students is located in the North Perry "Hollywood" Airport (FAA designator KHWO) and boasts 4 runways, a dedicated control tower, and excellent FBO facilities. (See diagram)
Our students have plenty of options for R&R on days off: the campus is located(30 minutes from Miami Beach, 20 mins from Fort Lauderdale, 2 hours from Kennedy Space Center, 3 hours from Orlando and all the local theme parks (Disney, Universal, Bush, etc)
Campus accommodation is optional, and normally available on the basis of third-party private apartments providers, where students are allocated an apartment with 3 bedrooms, each bedroom is shared between 2 same-sex students.
In addition to the standard sleeping arrangements, campus apartments are always provided with fully-functional central air conditioning, cable television, broadband wifi internet connection, and two bathrooms/two showers for 2-3 bedroom apartments.
The apartment kitchens are fully-equipped with large refrigerators, microwave ovens, stove tops and convection ovens, cooking pots, utensils and plates. Kitchens allow students to cook at home and save money on daily dining-out expenses.
Staying fit is essential for pilots. Students need to get used to necessary daily exercise routine that will follow them throughout their entire aviation careers. Planet Fitness with monhtly membership of only $15 is located in close proximity to the campus.
