Fly the "Mercedes of the Skies" in style!

What is Ormond Cirrus Flying Club

Ormond Beach Cirrus Flying Club (OBCFC) was established in May 2022 after Aerocadet (Raich Aerospace Group LLC) bought a 2004 SR-20 G2 to established a limited flying club for up to ten local members. The club is based in Ormond Beach Municipal Airport (KOMN) located approx 10 miles south of Flagler Municipal and approx 10 miles north of Daytona Beach Int. airports. OBCFC is owned and perated by Raich Aerospace Group LLC, a local private aviation training and consulting business trading as "Aerocadet". Although Aerocadet specializes in aviation training and career development exclusively for international students, our OBCFC operation is dedicated to local Florida residents only.

Pilot Certification and Experience

Cirrus aircraft is a so-called "Mercedes of the Skies", so, unlike Cessna and Piper and Mooney pilots out there, you will be cruising in an "S-class" style. Glass cockpit, executive trim cabin, modern agronomics and high performance (200hp) are some of the few benefits that you will enjoy as a OCFC member. And the doors... oh those "Lambo" style doors... How can you not love them!

Limited Membership

Due to our insurance restrictions, the club is limited to ten (10) members. That is if you want to have access to the aircraft 24/7. Reservations are made on-line via Flight Circle FBO system and are reserved on first-come-first-served.

Rental Options

Non-members can rent this aircraft subject to Cirrus current instructor check-out and availability. Club members always have FCFS basis utilization priority and club membership discounts.

Uncompromising Crew Safety

Cirrus pilots enjoy an unparalleled safety due to aircraft fuselage being equipped with a special parachute which can save them from even the hairiest of situations. When it comes to personal safety - there are no compromises!

IFR Certified with Glass Cockpit

Our SR-20 has a full glass cockpit based on Avidyne platform. This means that the aircraft is suitable for leisure flying and business use in any reasonable weather, offering unparalleled situational awareness and navigation system.

Key Aircraft Features

The advantages are many. The benefits are immense. The pricing is... surprising.

There are some Pees and Tees we need to check before we can admit you.

Our company needs to ensure that all members go through a short verification and standardization process. The process is as following

Application form submission and membership fee: Apply & Pay
License, accident history and document verification 1-2 days
SR-20 check-out by a CFI 2-3 hours

Please note: pilots with recorded accident history may not be insurable under our blanket club policy. We will need to confirm with the insurance underwriter each applicant's suitability before endorsing full membership. If membership can not be offered, a membership fee will be refunded.
